Project TINES · Room 02 concept

Closing the loop.

A proposed follow-up with Beth and Maria. Explore how an agreed plan becomes shared understanding.

Communication prototype for review. Not filmed; clinical details and continuity await acceptance.

01 · Reconnect

Agreement can leave questions.

At the next contact, Maria tells Beth that one part of the plan was unclear after she got home. The prototype does not assume that pain improved or that a particular treatment was taken.

“I left feeling better about talking to you. But when I got home, I wasn't sure I understood one part of the plan.”

02 · Try an opening

What could Beth say next?

Select a response to examine what it invites Maria to share.

03 · Compare perspectives

Beth's possible thought

“I thought we'd been clear. I need to check what I explained, rather than assume she wasn't listening.”

Maria's possible thought

“I don't want another question to make me seem difficult. I need to know it's okay to ask.”

These are proposed character thoughts for this concept, not recordings or claims about an actual patient.

04 · Make understanding visible

Check the explanation.

“I want to check that I explained this clearly. In your own words, what will you do next?”

After the clinically approved explanation, explore practical barriers and clarify who will contact whom. The clinical author must supply the actual treatment and escalation details.

Debrief: Name one assumption, revise one question, and identify one responsibility that still needs confirmation.
